Mario and Stefania will be getting married in september. I have 3 reasons to be happy about it.
1) They are good friends.
2) Mario has asked me to be his best man (and i have been honoured and accepted).
3) They asked me to have a rehearsal dinner with them to give some suggestions, given my passion and (they say) knowledge of food and wine. And, of course, I accepted:-)
So, last night, we drove to Il Visconte, 30 kilometers south of Milan. We had a delicious 12 (or were they 15?) course dinner. And I was free to criticize wines, desserts, main courses. Very tasty, funny and pleasant dinner.
Disclaimer for wedding guests: for the food, you want to congratulate to the bride, complain (you won’t) to me:-)

L’Indovinello Veronese è un testo in corsivo vergato a mano su una pergamena è il primo testo volgare romanzo.
L’indovinello si sviluppa in quattro esametri, di cui per ognuno si ha una diversa soluzione:
Separavo i buoi
-le dita della mano.
aravo i bianchi prati
-le pagine bianche di un libro.
e tenevo un bianco aratro
-la penna d’oca, con cui si era soliti scrivere.
e seminavo la negra semente
-l’inchiostro, con cui si scrivono le parole.
Se ne deduce dunque che la soluzione finale dell’indovinello sia lo scrivano, nell’atto di iniziare il suo lavoro (i bianchi prati).
Pleeease.. stop the english language…
Infondo gli autori di un blog sono anche scrittori (nel senso artistico del termine)
